Management:

Bothothari Foundation assembled a strong management team.  Bothothari is headed by the Board of Directors or Trustees, who are appointed by Bothothari Foundation and a chairman appointed within the Directorate or Trustees.  The Board is fully responsible for formulating policy decisions as well as limited operational decisions. A separate and independent Internal Audit Division is incorporated to perform an Internal Audit function.  Bothothari Foundation's organizational structure  comprises  a small Head Office - Branch structure laying heavy emphasis on the branch as a key position within the structure.   At each branch level, the staff composition includes a Branch Manager,  Senior Grant Officer, Grant Officers, Trainee Grant Officers and an  Accountant.

Bothothari Foundation considers its staff as its most valuable asset.  In order to achieve the goal, Bothothari puts priority focus on the development of the human resource capacity, on cultivating their sense of high responsibility and commitment.  These resources would come from their tenacity and willingness to change.  Programs and systems are utilized to build capacity in operations and management.  Its policy is to develop the staff by providing capacity building mechanisms.  These would include regular in-house trainings, local/international workshops and conferences, and other technical training.  These capacity development appointments are available to all staff as Bothothari operates in a transparent way.  It is based on growth, aspiration and professional performance.
